Why I started training different & created The Mentality Lab

growing up, I was always looking to compete:
think faster, train harder, move better.
After I accomplished my competitive goals,
I still wanted to push like i was that athlete.
Eventually, given all the stressors..
Time, responsibilities, career…

I ended up:
•feeling beat up,
•chronic joint pain,
•getting a surgery for an injury,

My result:
Failed surgery & my ability to train ripped away

After the surgery — Doctors told me
“you’ll never have strength to shake a hand.”

I always love a good challenge…

Fast forward years later…

I’m now a way better athlete
stronger, faster, fitter, & without Pain
more mentally dialed into everything in my life.

Here’s how:

I’ve put in over 10,000 hours coaching Since 2012.

I own a gym & coach 150+ members using this programming for over 3 years

After experiencing the flaws & injuries that came with random programs It got me thinking…

most people don’t have 2 hours to spend in the gym,
so, instead they come in for 1 hour & do what they can…
crush themselves - end up hurt after overuse - & no progression.

Instead, let’s make the best use of the limited time we have
train efficient with a program that enables you to:
look good - be pain free - Move well


So, I started using a more structured approach on myself first - experiment a bit.

My body started feeling so much better and actually noticed I was getting stronger, fitter, & doing less.

Then, I started working with individuals 1:1 and eventually rolled it out to over 150 people at a time.

I’ve Seen The Ups, The Downs, And The Process In Between when it comes to training.

Coming from a background of intense training followed by 5 years of relatively little to no training it was a perfect program to get me back on track to where I want to be physically.
